Tinkergarten is a child-led outdoor class where kids 18 months through 8 years learn through play. Brain-boosting outdoor exploration, a dynamic expertly-designed curriculum and a strong sense of community help make nature play accessible for every family!
Our classes
Through movement, song and open-ended exploration, little learners discover the world around them at their pace. Play is the best teacher, and nature the best classroom!

Each season, littles and their guides explore one of eight focus skills—and this summer, our focus is sensory! Join us for this messy and empowering season as we explore and engage all of our senses while we discover the world around us!
Summer season is open for enrollment! Join us for this short and sweet seven-week season in July and August as we dive into our camp theme and explore how different animals and bugs communicate—and the ways we humans communicate, as well!
Tinkergarten Babies is back for our wee explorers (6 to 18 months old)! Join us for this slow, simple and sweet class where caregivers and babies alike can connect and explore out in nature.
Outdoor play
With the trees, the sky, the grass as our classroom and sticks and mud as our learning tools, outdoor play offers the perfect combination of a stimulating and calming environment to boost learning, engagement and focus.
