Spring 2025

This spring, we’ll focus on boosting our human superpower: empathy! Classes begin the week of March 23

Focus skill: empathy

Kids will learn to recognize emotions in themselves and others, practice taking another person’s (or creature’s!) perspective, and take caring action in support of others—and all while having FUN and connecting to new friends and the natural world.

Empathy is the ability to step into another’s shoes—an actual understanding of another being and feeling their emotions, and then responding. It’s a skill we use throughout our entire life and forms a foundation for our relationships. Studies show that ability to connect and understand each other’s point of view leads to happiness and better overall health! We can give kids tools to activate this innate human ability to empathize through play!

Spring schedule

The spring season begins the week of March 23. Each class will meet weekly for nine weeks, ideally ending the week of May 18th (pending any necessary rescheduling). The Sunday season includes classes on Easter and Mother’s Day.

Classes will be rescheduled if weather conditions, a leader’s illness or other situation causes an inability to hold class on our end.
